District Junior Curling Championships in Outlook
On March 3-4, Outlook hosted the West Central District Junior Curling Championships with the following schools competing: Outlook High School, Dinsmore Composite School, Loreburn Central School, Kyle Composite School and North West Central School in Plenty.
A big thank you goes out to Nicole Pederson and the Outlook Hosting Committee for staging this year’s event.
Congratulations to this year’s district champs!
Junior Boys was won by Outlook High School. Coach Brent Larwood (filling in for Bill Ivan), Alex Calvin, Aiden Kratchmer, Brandt Ivan and Davin Ivan.
Junior Girls was won by Beechy School. Coaches Karen Baxter and Shelby Ayers, Nevaeh Lawson, Justine Horn, Mackenzie Walsh and Julia Wiens.
Junior Mixed was won by Dinsmore Composite School. Coach Lori Beattie, Brianna Jespersen, Ty Green, Blake Lawes, Harlie McNeely and Alex Gauthier.
