Kenaston Student Takes Second in First Nations Spelling Bee
Grade 4 Kenaston School student Isabelle Zdunich placed second in her category among several dozen competitors in the First Nations Spelling Bee, held on March 18 in Saskatoon.
The First Nations Spelling Bee is a national competition that started in 2015. Students who win at provincial and regional matches go to Toronto for a final in May.
Isabelle competed in the Junior category (ages nine to eleven) and won a trophy and a cash prize for placing second.
Congratulations Isabelle! We are all proud of you!
