Kindersley and District Co-op: HIRING ASSISTANT GAS BAR MANAGER

Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, the Assistant Gas Bar Manager will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Front-End team members to ensure operational efficiencies and processes are followed to align with the strategy, objectives, and vision of the respective department. You will work with the Gas Bar Manager to determine current and future capabilities required for effective execution of merchandising, marketing, image/fixed assets, talent and development in addition to driving sales.

Retail Store Operations and must have:

• Possess 1-3 years of experience in supervision in a retail environment.
• Retail experience in the areas of member relations, selling, ordering, receiving, asset maintenance and health and safety.
• A clear understanding of personnel policies, practices and procedures and other operation issues faced by the organization.
• High level of integrity and accountability.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays where necessary.
• Ability to fulfill physical job requirements including manual labour.
• Experience in retail sales especially in the CRS will be considered an asset.
• Strong leadership skills that align with Kindersley Co-op’s values.
• Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation and teamwork.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to problem solve.
• Highly motivated and organized.
