VIDEOS: Klippers VS Battleford

The topper of the Goose Festival weekend is the Kindersley Jr. Klippers taking on the visiting Battleford North Stars. The Jrs played well on the Friday in Battleford as they were tied at 0 going into the 3rd period. However, that 3rd period was not good for our guys as Battleford scored 4 goals and won the game.

So, with redemption on their minds, the Klippers wanted to play well in front of a home crowd and come out with the win. Newly crowned captain Logan Linklater led our guys from the opening minute and they never gave up and were rewarded with 5 to 3 WIN! The action was fast paced as both teams wanted to dominate the other. 1st star, Klipper goalie Logan Falk, made 45 saves as Logan Cox and Cash Arnsten each scored twice while 1st year Klipper Grady Hauk potted an empty netter to seal the deal.

1,236 fans were delirious as the hometown heroes took home the victory. The 50/50 take home was over $2,100. The Goose Festival dance was happening in the curling rink right after the game. The next home game for our Klippers is Friday, October 13th and Saturday the 14th.
