A Busy Summer at WCA
It’s been a jampacked summer so far at the WCA!
On June 20th, individuals and staff enjoyed a BBQ lunch and yard games at Kim’s farm. This is an event on many summer bucket lists and Kim graciously agrees to hosts our group. The weather was very cooperative and allowed for visiting and games and an outdoor lunch. We had a few cats make an appearance, and Jaycee the dog was also quick to join our group. She enjoyed bites and nibbles from anyone who was willing to share their lunch.
Margaret and Irene were excited to head to Medicine Hat for an overnight trip. They were able to visit with a friend and celebrate their birthday with another delicious cake. They did a bit of shopping, ate scrumptious Chinese food and took a swim at their hotel pool. Margaret talked about how nice the hotel was.
On the way home, they made a stop in Leader for some sightseeing. The ladies really enjoyed their get away. Thanks to Michelle for accompanying them and Carol for the visit!
Stay tuned for more upcoming summer adventures. You can also visit our website www.westcentralabilities.ca to see more photos.
