On the morning of July 26th, 2024, at the Heritage Manor in Kindersley Saskatchewan, Sharon “Lynne” Crawford passed on quietly at the age of 83.

Lynne was born on August 5, 1941, in Kindersley Saskatchewan. She was the daughter of Esther and Ellwyn Wyman, and sister of Judy Murray, Susie Holm, Wendy Besplug and Donny Wyman.

After High school Lynne attended Nursing school in Calgary where she met and married Stan Raugust. They had 3 children, Leslie, Terri, and Rick. They lived in Ponoka, Warburg and Stony Plain Alberta.  Lynne returned to Kindersley after divorce, where she started work at Rogers Florist. It was here where she met David Crawford. Also, at this time see was taking her pilot lessons. She spoke of it often and was very proud of this defining moment in her life.  On Dec 28th, 1976, Lynne and David were married in Kindersley and moved to the farm in Netherhill, Sask. Christopher Crawford was born on June 22, 1978, to Lynne and David.

Lynne’s entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and she was involved in many creative businesses, such as catering social events, selling cow paddies at the auction mart in Kindersley, And opening Kindersley Jewelers with her sister Wendy. She later learned goldsmithing and incorporated her florist skills into the business.

David and Lynne created a dried flower business at the farm in Netherhill involving family and friends help. During the winter they enjoyed skiing. While living on the farm their home and hearts were always open to guests and many holiday meals and Lynnes famous brunches. They had International Agriculture Exchange students, World Youth and hosted many friends and family in their home. Her cooking, hospitality, and special brownies always loved. Her Grand children and great Grandchildren were dear to her heart.

Some of Lynnes accomplishments while in Netherhill were toastmasters, President of Kindersley Mall Merchants, and President of the Chamber of Commerce of Kindersley.

In 1999 they loaded up the truck and moved to Saskatoon. Lynne got involved with the forestry farm and took a florist job in the city. Again, Lynne and David opened there home to English as a second language students, and Blades hockey players.  Lynne started taking an interest in Reiki, spirituality, crystals and crystal wire wrapping, nature wreaths and throughout her whole artistic career she could make the beat dam bow. BOWS BOWS and BOWS!!!

She will be deeply missed and loved. The world needs more Lynnes.
