High E. Coli Levels Make Regina Beach not Suitable for Swimming

Regina Beach is urging visitors to avoid swimming due to elevated E. coli levels.

A sign from the Saskatchewan Health Authority at Regina Beach warns that the water is currently unsuitable for swimming.

E. coli levels at Regina Beach were 5.4 on June 24 and have since risen to 382.2 as of Wednesday.

Ingesting E. coli can cause illness, with symptoms including diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting.
