Key ’24-25 SJHL Dates

With the 2024-2025 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League campaign just around the corner, it is time to set some key dates.

• SEPT. 2, 2024: The SJHL Pre-Season schedule begins in La Ronge as the Flin Flon Bombers visit the Mel to take on the Ice Wolves. CLICK HERE FOR FURTHER DETAILS ON THE PRE-SEASON.
• SEPT. 18, 2024: Clark Munroe, Rory McGouran, Neugsie, and the crew will be back with a full 2024-25 SJHL Season preview show, live and on-demand across the SJHL social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter)!
• SEPT. 20, 2024: The SJHL Regular Season starts with five games and ten teams involved. Flin Flon, Yorkton, Estevan, La Ronge and Battlefords will be the venues as the 55th season of this iteration of the SJHL will begin in earnest. CLICK HERE FOR FURTHER DETAILS ON THE REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE.
  • SEPT. 21, 2024: The last two teams to begin their season, the Notre Dame Hounds and Humboldt Broncos, will begin their campaign at Humboldt’s Elgar Petersen Arena.
• NOV. 4-6, 2024: The Western All-Star Showcase in Warman, SK, will feature players from the prairie leagues, who will form teams by league, with the hope of making Team Canada West’s squad for the 2024 World Junior A Challenge. CLICK HERE FOR FURTHER DETAILS ON THE LEAGUE’S SHOWCASES THIS SEASON.
  • The 2024 World Junior A Challenge is set for DEC. 9-15, 2024, in Camrose, AB.
• JAN. 27-29, 2025: The SJHL/MJHL Showcase, featuring three all-star teams from each league, will again battle in Winnipeg, MB. One team will consist of players 18 and under, while the other will consist of players 20 and under.
• SJHL Games of the Month are still To Be Determined, but rest assured that they are back for this season on SaskTel TV!
