Petting Zoo Fun!

On September 5 Karly, Chantele, Irene and Greg took a trip to the Prairie Oasis Petting Zoo in Wilkie. We enjoyed a picnic lunch when we arrived and had a beautiful day with warm sunny weather. Everyone enjoyed seeing, feeding and petting the animals.

It was interesting to see the expected farm animals including a horse, sheep, goats and chickens as well as the more exotic peacocks, alpaca and some fancier chicken breeds. Irene was very excited to hold, pet and feed each animal while Karly and Chantele were a little less sure but tried petting the gentler options such as the bunny and horse behind the fence.

We enjoyed meeting up with a group from Macklin and spending time with the wonderful host, Donnalyn.
