The 2024 Kindersley Terry Fox Run/Walk Was a Great Success!
Thank you Kindersley and area! Our community has come together to keep Terry’s message alive while raising $1,540 for cancer research!
Forty-four years ago, determined to make a difference in the lives of those living with cancer, Terry ignited a fundraising movement that cannot be stopped.
Thank you to Kindersley Co-op and Kindersley Save On Foods for donating water and granola bars to those participating. Thank you also to the Kindersley Klippers who can always be counted on to lead warm-ups and support this great cause!
Our local high school also came out to help raise funds. A big thank you to the students, staff, families, friends and community members for your support in the fight against cancer and showing your no quit attitude in honour of Terry Fox! KCS raised $3000.00 this year, tripling their goal of $1000.00! The students earned a bonus flex day sometime this month! Congratulations to Mr. Motier’s period 1 class for raising the most money, and winning donuts.
Many thanks to students from Westberry Elementary School and Elizabeth Middle School who walked to honor Terry and his mission.
