October 2024

1^st – 3^rd Cold rains over the Rockies rapidly moving east across Prairies.

4^th – 7^th Much of the Rockies are dry and cool. Many showers and a few thunderstorms move east from Prairies.

8^th – 11^th Rockies are cold and clear.

12^th – 15^th Mild, with widely scattered showers dampening the Thanksgiving weekend.

16^th – 19^th Rain or even (over the highest terrain) wet snow for the Rockies.

20^th – 23^rd A rapid warm-up, followed by stormy conditions, east into the Prairies.

24^th – 27^th Clouds; scattered showers.
