Kindersley & District Co-op Makes Large Donation
Holy smokes! The Kindersley & District Co-op did it again. Today was a cheque presentation to the Kids Academy/Kinder Kollege to the amount of $250,000.00. This is an amazing donation to an even more amazing project. The Kids Academy Early Learning Centre needs to raise approx. 4.5 million and this marks pretty much the half way point towards that goal. The Kindersley Co-op is one of the biggest donators to this project and they also raised another $2,710.82 from their “Good Fuel” day. 10 cents from every litre of gas sold at the Kindersley and Eatonia gas bars went towards this exciting venture in a separate cheque.
Hats off to all the staff at the Kindersley Co-op locations who are helping make the dream of 90 childcare spaces and 30 before and after school spaces here in our busy community a reality!
