Luseland & Surrounding Communities Hit By String of Break-Ins.
Over the weekend, Luseland as well as our neighbouring communities were hit by a string of break-ins.
The information we have at this time has led us to believe that these events are connected.
Our investigation is in collaboration with numerous law enforcement partners including the RCMP and the RCMP Forensic Identification unit out of Saskatoon. We have been in contact with out of province agencies who are aware of these events and have offered their support.
We would like to thank the community for their assistance and cooperation throughout the day, as our presence and investigation disrupted normal business operations downtown.
As the investigation has progressed we have developed key pieces of evidence that will assist us in bringing the individuals responsible to justice.
At this time we ask the public to remain vigilant…
1. Lock all doors including those of businesses, homes, and vehicles.
2. Do not leave keys easily accessible in vehicles.
3. Do not leave valuables easily accessible.
4. If you see or hear something that’s out of place, don’t hesitate to call our service.
While we are undoubtedly the most beautiful town in the province, we are not immune from those who seek to take advantage of our small town kindness and generosity.
