Rosetown and Kyle RCMP Respond to Break-Ins, Traffic Incidents, and Community Safety Calls Across Region

In addition to the following calls, there were 51 Traffic related charges issued, 2 911 mis-dial calls and 4 false alarm calls. November 1, 2024

7:03 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious person in Rosetown, SK. Members patrolled the area but found nothing suspicious.
8:58 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a break and enter at the Post Office in Kyle. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.
11:06 AM – Rosetown RCMP received an uttering threats complaint in Rosetown. Members spoke with the complainant, who requested no further action.
12:57 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a traffic complaint on Highway 7. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
5:31 PM – Kyle RCMP received a mischief complaint in Lucky Lake, SK. Members spoke to the complainant and no further action was required.

November 2, 2024

1:55 PM – Rosetown RCMP attended a wellbeing check request in Rosetown, SK.
3:00 PM – Kyle RCMP received an erratic driving complaint on Highway 7. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.

November 3, 2024

1:16 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a harassing communications complaint in Rosetown. Members spoke to the subject of the complaint.
3:22 PM – Rosetown RCMP received an erratic driving complaint on Highway 7. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.
5:58 PM – Kyle RCMP attended a wellbeing check request in Rosetown, SK.
7:38 PM – Kyle RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Members located the vehicle and spoke to the driver.

November 4, 2024

9:24 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 4. There were no injuries; reported for insurance purposes.
11:47 PM – Rosetown RCMP are investigating an assault complaint in Rosetown, SK.

November 5, 2024

11:43 AM – Kyle RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 4. There were no injuries.
1:38 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Members located the vehicle and gave a verbal warning to the driver.
8:06 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a residence in Rosetown, SK. Members charged a 36-year-old male with breaking and entering with intent, uttering threats, three counts of mischief, and failure to comply with an undertaking condition.
