Water Vending Station Update
The Town is excited to announce significant upgrades to the bulk water fill station in the industrial area. These enhancements are designed to improve safety and functionality throughout the year, especially during the winter months.
“To minimize ice buildup and ensure proper drainage, we have implemented several key changes, including landscaping, the addition of concrete pads, and the relocation of the water fill spigots to the front of the building. Additionally, we’ve installed heat tape on the drainage lines to prevent large pools of water from freezing and creating slip hazards.
Please note that hoses will no longer be provided at the station. This change is due to frequent incidents of hoses being torn off, which has caused piping and water flow issues, as well as concerns about hose contamination.
Effective immediately, we ask that all users bring their own hoses compatible with our valve system (2″ spigot). Thank you for your understanding as we work to enhance the safety and efficiency of our water fill station!” shared the Town of Kindersley
