Breakdown of Today’s Election Results
Returning Officer Audrey Hebert officially announced the newly elected Mayor and Council this morning at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Town of Kindersley Administration Office. The announcement was also livestreamed on the Town of Kindersley YouTube Channel
Mayor-Elect Kenneth Francis won with 637 votes, defeating challenger Tom Morris, who received 244 votes.
The following Councillors-Elect successfully secured seats on Council (listed by vote count):
- Rob Anderson (705 votes)
- Shaun Henry (671 votes)
- Warren Schafer (666 votes)
- Randy Ervine (633 votes)
- Kevin Martin (544 votes)
- Anthony Barlow (529 votes)
The remaining candidates who did not secure Council seats were:
- Daniel Baker (513 votes)
- Jennifer Greschner (418 votes)
The 2024 Council will be officially sworn in on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, with their first official meeting taking place immediately after the ceremony.
