Would You Self-Publish or Go Traditional? Hear what Kev and Rev. Piotr Have to Say
On a recent episode of The Kev and The Rev Show, Kevin and Piotr tackled a question many authors wrestle with: Would you self-publish your own book, or would you go the traditional route?
Piotr didn’t hesitate to share his game plan. “I’d write my own book and then beg my literary pals to edit and help me sell it,” he joked. “Maybe I’ll take them out to dinner or cook for them.”
Kevin then brought up none other than Taylor Swift. “She self-published,” he said, referencing how the music icon turned her love for writing lyrics into writing a book. “I might actually read this book,” Kevin admitted. “It’s interesting to see how she did it, what she wrote, and all the details in it.”
Piotr chimed in, agreeing with Kevin’s take. “I’ve read her lyrics,” he said. “She definitely has something to say.”
Kevin then shares the thought on most reader/writers mind–she has the star power behind her, she is a well known name so she will have an easier time selling this book then someone who is just starting out.
