Two Arrests Made Following Shooting in Saskatoon

Saskatoon police arrested a man and woman after a reported shooting on Friday afternoon.

Officers responded around 2 p.m. to the 1300 block of Avenue B North, where residents reported hearing gunshots, according to a release from the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS).

Witnesses told police they saw a suspicious man on foot and a suspicious vehicle in the area.

The investigation led officers to a stolen Dodge minivan parked outside an apartment building in the 1100 block of Avenue W North. Inside the building, they arrested a man and woman.

Police recovered a 9mm pistol from the male suspect. No injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing, and police urge anyone with information to contact SPS or Crime Stoppers.
