Ethan Sautner, Jaxon Herchak, Brett O’Halloran, Rylan Wieler, Zakery Anderson, and Mason Bueckert will be representing at this year’s SJHL/MJHL Showcase in Winnipeg, MB, from January 27-29!
Here’s what the SJHL shared about the upcoming showcase:
“The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League proudly announces the three rosters that will represent our league at the 2025 SJHL/MJHL Showcase, which will take place in Winnipeg, MB, from Jan. 27 to 29, 2025.
The annual Showcase welcomes 60 elite players from each league, and three teams from each league will be formed to compete against each other during the event. One team will consist of players 18 and under, while the other will consist of players 20 and under.
This will be the sixth SJMJ Showcase, the first of which took place in Regina in 2018. The SJHL has a 20-9-1 record over that span.
“The MJSJ Showcase is one of the premier events of our season,” said SJHL Commissioner Kyle McIntyre.
“It is a tremendous opportunity to showcase the best 20U and 18U players in the SJHL. As always, we expect a fast and physical game each time out, and this is a rivalry and a series where both leagues and our players come to play every game!”
The SJHL squads are split up into Team Gold (U20), Team White (U20), and Team Blue (U18). The event will begin with team practices on the 27th, then games begin on the 28th.”
The Coaching Staffs are as follows:
