Kindersley Dancer Brooke Boisvert to Perform at TeleMiracle 49
Fourteen-year-old Brooke Boisvert is ready to take the stage again for a cause close to her heart. The Grade 8 student from Elizabeth Middle School in Kindersley will perform a lyrical solo at TeleMiracle 49, making this her second consecutive appearance at the annual Saskatchewan fundraiser.
The lyrical piece, choreographed by Tiffany Wagner of Premier Dance, holds special meaning for Brooke. She dedicated it to her Auntie Lindsay and has already showcased the performance at competitions across Regina, Medicine Hat, Drumheller, Camrose, Brooks, and Leader. “I’m so excited to be part of TeleMiracle again,” Brooke shares. “It’s an incredible experience to dance and help raise money for such an important cause.”
Brooke’s passion for performing began at the age of three, and her enthusiasm for helping others has only grown. This year, she has set an ambitious fundraising goal of $2,500 for the Kinsmen Foundation. The foundation provides vital support by funding mobility equipment, adaptive technology, home accessibility improvements, and medical travel expenses for individuals and families in need.
To reach her goal, Brooke is combining online efforts with good old-fashioned door-to-door fundraising. “Some people still appreciate face-to-face connections, and I love meeting community members who want to support TeleMiracle,” she explains. Her dedication stems from personal connections—she knows people whose lives have been directly improved by the foundation’s generosity.
Congratulations, Brooke, on your dedication and hard work! Kindersley will be cheering you on as you light up the stage for a great cause!
Be sure to tune in to TeleMiracle 49 and ring those phones on March 1-2!
