Kindersley All-Wheel Park Seeks Committee Members to Move Project Forward
The Kindersley All-Wheel Park & Recreation Area is looking for community members to join a committee dedicated to making this long-awaited project a reality. Volunteers will help organize fundraisers, events, and other initiatives. The only requirements are a willingness to collaborate and make timely decisions as a team.
Over the years, this project has received strong community engagement, with hundreds of locals providing feedback, answering design surveys, and participating in events. To move forward, the new council is seeking an additional 500 signatures to demonstrate continued interest and support.
To date, $330,000 has been raised through cash and in-kind product donations. The team is currently in discussions with local businesses to secure additional in-kind donations of labor, which will significantly reduce project costs.
If a skatepark committee is not in place by the end of 2025, the project will be discontinued. To move forward, construction plans must be finalized for a 2026 start.
