
Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit have concluded a drug trafficking investigation with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, Crime Reduction Team, and Drug Unit.
On February 19, 2025 at around 5:15 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the area of 22nd Street and Avenue P as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation resulting in the arrests of four persons. A fifth person was taken into custody in the area of Junor Avenue and Makaroff Road. Later that evening, at around 7:30 p.m., a search warrant was executed at an address in the 1100 block of Hargreaves Way. The following evidentiary seizures were made by investigators;
- 961 grams of methamphetamine
- 69 grams of fentanyl
- 13 grams of soft cocaine
- 4.5 grams of hard cocaine
- $2,755 CAD
- Assorted weapons
As a result, two 32-year-old women, a 42-year-old woman, and two men, age 26 and 30, are facing a combined total of 27 drug trafficking- and weapons-related charges.
