What is Pi Day?

What on earth is Pi Day?

Well, I am very glad you asked. Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant TT. Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1 and 4 are the first three significant figures of TT, and was first celebrated in the United States. It was founded in 1988 by Larry Shaw, an employee of a science museum in San Francisco.

However, beyond its mathematical significance, Pi Day has also become a symbol of intellectual curiosity and the universal language of science. It highlights the interconnectedness of different disciplines and underscores the importance of critical thinking and problem-solving skills in our increasingly complex world.

And now you know what you didn’t know! You’re welcome.
