Obituaries: Colton Jared Richardson
December 24, 1990 – March 12, 2025
It is with profound sadness the family of Colton Jared Richardson announce his passing in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the age of 34 years. Left to cherish his loving memory is his mother, Angela McPhee (Troy Trytten) of Kindersley, his father David Richardson of Kindersley, his brother Codey (Brandy) Richardson and children Kesler, Brextyn and Tenley of Flaxcombe; his sister Madalyn McPhee of Kindersley, his maternal grandparents Dale and Virginia Oswald of Kindersley; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Colton is predeceased by his brother Kaden Richardson, paternal grandparents George and Marguerite Richardson.
Christmas was extra special with Colton being born on Christmas Eve in 1990. He grew up in Kindersley doing all the great things happening in town. He enjoyed playing hockey, skateboarding, snowboarding, camping, fishing and loved his music, bicycling, playing guitar and hanging out with his friends. Colton, more than anything, enjoyed his family time.
He graduated from Kindersley Composite School in 2009. In Colton’s younger years, he had a great group of friends that we lovingly refer to as the “6th Avenue crew”.
He had an inventive mind, and with his brothers, tried to build something from nothing. Sometimes they succeeded and sometimes not, giving everyone a good laugh. Colton had many jobs growing up from delivering pizza to washing dishes. After graduating he went into plumbing, construction, cell towers – seriously he liked heights that much, maintenance at Canpulse and roofing.
