Luseland Police Service: March Calls for Service
On April 1, the Luseland Police Service shared their March calls for service. They are as follows:
- Assault: Report received.
- Medical Emergency: Responded and provided assistance until EMS arrived.
- Stolen Vehicle: Assisted in attempting to locate.
- Panic Alarm: Assisted in response.
- Abandoned ATV: Report received; owner notified.
- Structure Fire: Report received.
- Family Dispute: Report received.
- Stolen Tractor: Assisted RCMP in locating; tractor recovered.
- Fraud (Over $5000): Report received; investigation ongoing.
- Wellness Check: Performed at the request of the public.
- Possible Shots Fired: Report received; determined to be fireworks.
- Mental Health Calls: Responded to two calls for service.
- Mischief to Motor Vehicle: Report received; insufficient evidence to proceed.
- Break & Enter/Theft (Church): Assisted in investigation.
- Break & Enter/Theft (Residence): Report received; complaint unfounded, file closed at caller’s request.
- Arrests: Assisted RCMP in arresting one male and two female subjects.
- Traffic Violations:
- Motorist reported passing a school bus.
- Impaired driving complaint received.
- General driving complaint received.
- Suspicious Activity: Five complaints received regarding suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities.
- Sexual Assault: Two complaints received.
