Discarded Couches, Appliances, and Mattresses Left on Property Outside Kerrobert

The Town of Kerrobert recently received a call from a concerned landowner regarding discarded couches, appliances, and mattresses left on their property outside of town.

Please remember to be considerate and respectful of what belongs to others, and that it is illegal to trespass and/or dump anything on private property.

The Town of Kerrobert encourages residents of Kerrobert and the R.M. of Mariposa to take advantage of their upcoming FREE dump weekend on May 10th & 11th!

There will be NO charge for ANY items on these two days.

Metals, wood/branches, and leaves will need to be separated as per normal. Every item dropped off MUST be sorted and put into a bin. Failure to comply may result in loss of future free dump days.

There will be TWO LOCATIONS:

  1. Kerrobert Transfer Station:
  • May 10: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • May 11: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

All materials permitted at the Kerrobert Transfer Station will be accepted here free of charge, as long as they are sorted accordingly.

  1. The corner of Bulling Street and Railway Avenue (by Fairground Entrance):

They will not be accepting wood/branches, leaves, recycling, or appliances containing freon at this specific location. Please drop off at the Transfer Station.
