With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Terri Marie Stukings on April 15, 2025, at the age of 62, with family by her side.

Born April 10th, 1963, Terri grew up on the family farm north of Madison, SK. She attended all her schooling in Eston, where she was involved in different activities. Terri was a majorette for a few years with the Eston-Elrose Marching Band, where she got to see many different towns and cities throughout Canada.

After graduation, Terri worked as a waitress in the Eston Hotel for a few months, where she always knew your drink of choice. She then moved to Saskatoon, where she worked as a dispatcher for Yanke Transport. Terri was always up for a challenge, a fun time, and an adventure, so in 2003, she transferred with Yanke Transport from Saskatoon to Calgary, AB. She wanted a change from dispatching and dealing with grumpy truck drivers, so she went to school in Calgary for hairdressing. After she graduated from hairdressing school, she decided that this was not her calling and went back to dispatching for a company called Cool X. She dispatched for them for a few years until she switched to a refrigeration company called AK Brown. Terri worked for AK Brown until September 2014, when she was diagnosed with cancer.

Terri embraced life to its fullest both before and after the cancer diagnosis. Everyone who knew her knew she was always up for an adventure, especially if it meant bending the odd rule or two. Terri’s humour, spirit, and love for adventure continued until her adventure ended at the Foothills County Hospice near Okotoks after a 10.5-year cancer battle.

Terri is survived by her mother, Adrienne of Swift Current, SK; her brother, Les (Charlene) of Swift Current, SK; her nephew, Mitch (Rochelle) of Grimshaw, AB and their children Ella, and Emmett; her niece, Sara (Spencer) of Kincaid, SK; Aunt June; Uncle Orrin (Pam); best friend, Susan; friend, Cam; numerous cousins and many friends.

Terri was predeceased by her dad, Jim; her Grandparents; her Uncle; and a few close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17th at 3:30 in the Eston Wheatland Center for all those to come, remember, tell stories, and have a toast to Terri.
