Garden Plots Still Available!
Interested in gardening? The Town of Kindersley has shared plots are still available!
The primary goal of the Kindersley Community Garden is to provide a shared space where individuals and families can grow their own food, build connections, with neighbors, and promote environmental sustainability.
The following guidelines are here to help the garden run smoothly and efficiently.
1. No herbicides or pesticides.
2. Gardeners and visitors to the site do so at their own risk. The Town of Kindersley is not responsible for plot damage, theft, property damage, or personal injury.
3. Gardeners are responsible for keeping their plots maintained throughout the gardening season. Plots that re left untended or neglected may be cleared and reassigned to other gardeners. No refunds will be provided for abandoned plots.
4. All pets in the garden must be on a leash.
5. In the event that the number of gardeners exceeds the available garden plots, a lottery will be held to determine plot assignments. Plots will be assigned randomly, and all participants will be notified of the results. If you do not receive a plot, you will be placed on a waiting list in case any plots become available.
6. A $50.00 fee will be required at the time of application to help cover the costs of water and general site maintenance. If the applicant is not selected in the plot lottery, this fee will be refunded. Once a plot is assigned, the fee becomes non-refundable.
