
The Alberta Government brought in $6.9 MM on its May 14th Crown land sale.
In total, 15,368.81 hectares were sold at an average price of $451.60/ha.
A 1,024-hectare (four-section) parcel of land located south of Grande Prairie and west of Fox Creek, at the western edge of the Kakwa field, accounted for the largest bonus in the May 14 land sale. The parcel sold for $3,663,647—representing 53% of the total bonus collected. A land broker made the purchase.
