“And That’s How Lunch Went!”

The Town of Kindersley recently recognized all the Town employees with a delicious pulled beef on a bun with salads, cupcakes and drinks lunch at the Public Works shop. Employees from Public Works, Parks and Rec, WCEC staff, swimming pool staff, tourism booth and administration staff were given a lunch to celebrate their contributions to helping keep Kindersley maintained and up to date.

Mayor Francis, Deputy Mayor Warren Schaffer and Councillors Shaun Henry and Kevin Martin helped serve everyone. I personally did not realize how many people it took to cut the grass, run the rinks, fix equipment, run the pool, etc. Wow! Kindersley Packers made an unbelievable pulled beef to go with buns, salads and drinks from Kindersley Family Foods.

After the meal, outgoing CAO Audrey Hebert served as Master of Ceremonies and introduced Mayor Francis who spoke about the contributions the staff makes to our town. Mayor Francis also introduced the new incoming CAO, Marty Baroni, who has relocated here from Warman. The new staff were introduced and the next thing we knew, it was back to work. This is a yearly event that the staff look forward to and meet other staff they may not have known previously.

Thanks go out to everyone involved with the Town and doing the jobs you do. Our town wouldn’t be the same without you. Well done!
