“One Heckuva Deal!”
If you were ever hungry, the Kindersley & District Plains Museum was the place to be on Saturday morning (May 31). There were enough pancakes and sausages mixed with coffee and juice to tempt your palette and ease your hunger. And at only $10 a plate, one heckuva deal!
This breakfast is an annual event and more people came out this year than last, so we could call it a roaring success! Rev. Piotr and members of the United Church volunteered their time and helped to make and serve the food and in general had a good time socializing and visiting with friends old and new.
The United Church is very involved in the Kindersley community, and this is another way they give back. This year is also the 100th anniversary of the United Church in Canada, so is much cause for celebration. All money raised at the breakfast is for the United Church.
Well done on running a successful breakfast! Next year? Let’s see.
