“Shifts in the Wind Are Reportedly Making This Fight a Difficult One”

An update from the team of NBFD firefighters deployed to La Ronge:

“It’s been an incredible joint effort with more than 50 firefighters from all over Saskatchewan and some from the USA trying to get control of the fires and protecting assets in the communities. Shifts in the wind are reportedly making this fight a difficult one, per Chief Holm.

Our NBFD crew is tired but continuing to work hard; they are being well looked after by community members from La Ronge who are assisting on the ground. Thank you to all for your service.”
