Wainwright Fire Department Deployed to Help with Alberta Wildfires

Members of the Wainwright Fire Department have been deployed to help with the Alberta wildfires – Deputy Chief Wade Pillman is in a leadership role in Swan Hills and FF Haduik and FF De Vos are now headed from Swan Hills to assist with the Red Earth Creek Complex Fire.

“Our firefighters are some of the best in the province and willingly share their time, expertise and flat out courage with communities in desperate need of help – we are very blessed and very proud Wainwright Fire & Rescue,” the Town of Wainwright shared.

A big thank you to all firefighters and other volunteers who are helping with the ongoing fires and evacuation efforts.
