“We Are on Standby,” Says FC Jeff Soveran

With the wildfires intensifying in the north and mass evacuations now exceeding 15,000 people, Kindersley Fire Department has two crews made up of four members, along with a Class A pumper with a capacity to carry 1500 gallons of water, along with a tender with a capacity to carry 4000 gallons of water, ready to go.

Crew 1 will be on standby, until the 15th of June, and be ready for dispatch.

Crew 2 will go on standby on the 16th of June, and will be ready for dispatch until June 26th.

After that, crews will rotate for dispatch every 10 days.

I’ll give an update if and when if we are deployed.
