The Winnipeg Police Service recently gave a heartfelt thank-you to the members, civilians, and citizens of Winnipeg:
“Last week, an urgent email was sent out requesting donations and supplies to assist with the growing number of displaced animals affected by the devastating wildfires across Manitoba and surrounding areas.
Thanks to your generosity, we came together as a community and responded with incredible compassion. Several items were purchased or donated, and funds were raised in support of these great causes as well.
An extended thank you to all the rescue groups and dedicated volunteers who continue to work tirelessly on the frontlines – rescuing, transporting and caring for all the animals/individuals in need. Those efforts do not go unnoticed and are deeply appreciated.”
