2025 KCS Grads Receive Surprise from Kindersley Chamber!
Now that was fun! The Kindersley Chamber of Commerce was at the Kindersley Composite School on Friday, June 6th to have lunch and congratulate the grads and to give them a little something. What was it you ask? Well, I’m glad you asked!
The grads were given a $10 shopkindersley.ca gift card and were asked to spend it at a participating Chamber business, have their picture taken with what they purchased and share it all over social media. The Chamber will monitor these shares and select a winner at random with the grand prize to be handed out at the graduation ceremony on June 26th. What is the grand prize you ask? Well, I’m glad you asked again!
The grand prize is a laptop with mouse and bag, $100 in shopkindersley.ca gift cards plus a $300 gift certificate for Murlin Electronics donated by the Kindersley Mall. Kelly Insurance Brokers donated the laptop, Murlin Electronics donated the bag and $100 in gift cards. Valued at over $1,000 I would say that’s not a bad prize eh? The students have two weeks in which to complete their “mission”. They were asked to shop smartly, share freely and have fun.
Chamber members Mark Van Den Berg, Nancy Ternes, Ashley Hill, Nikki Meschisnick and Kevin Martin were representing the Chamber and explaining the rules and handing out individualized envelopes to each grad student. Don’t we all wish we were that age again? Ok but only if we get to keep all our memories and experiences! That’s not asking for much, is it?
