Luseland Police Service Arrest Drunk Driver
A message from Luseland Police Service :
“On the early morning of May 27th, Luseland Police Service received numerous calls for service of a possible impaired driver on Highway 31 travelling westbound from Kerrobert to Luseland.
LPS was able to intercept the vehicle resulting in a 32-year-old male from Alberta being arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Our Police Service is extremely grateful for those that made the call that day.
Given the details of the call, this was an urgent matter that if not reported may have ended differently.
The consequences of driving impaired are steep. From legal repercussions to severe injury and death resulting from an accident. When you drive, you have a responsibility to keep yourself and other road users safe.
Luseland Police Service will be performing an increased amount of sobriety checks this summer.
If you plan to consume alcohol or cannabis, plan a safe ride home.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe.
Chief Ty Kohlman”
