What a Year (and a Bit!) for MAV Truck Tires & Service
Wow! What a year, and then some, for MAV Truck Tires & Service. Even owner Mark Van Den Berg is surprised by how quickly his mobile tire service company has taken off.
Mark started MAV with a clear plan: offer top-notch service to commercial, oil and gas, and farming operations, helping them stay on track with fleet maintenance. That goal? He’s blown right past it.
MAV continues to service a 100 km radius from Kindersley, which is a huge relief if you’re stuck out on the road, far from home. Mark has ramped up local advertising, and it’s paying off. Between radio spots, print ads, and strong Google visibility, word is definitely getting out. It really proves how powerful local advertising and social media can be!
His plan to “reduce your downtime” is on track. This has allowed him to purchase different tools and equipment needed to do the job properly and safely. When they do a job and the person may not be familiar with the process, Mark and Jennifer (and we can’t forget Bear!) take the time to not only explain the problem but walk you through the issue and the necessary steps to fix it. This shows a high level of dedication and customer education! And they obviously love helping people who are in need.
Having gone above and beyond original revenue and scope of work projections, what’s next? MAV has plans to open a shop here in Kindersley and that is another piece of the plan coming together! Tire storage is certainly a big deal and that cuts down on customer wait times for sure. Being a 24-hour service can be daunting because repairs don’t always respect your time!
This is a steadily growing company that anyone with tire trouble can count on. Repeat customers are extremely happy with his level of personal service and his commitment to a job well done. In a business like this, trust and loyalty go a long way! Mark has chosen his profession well and it shows. He knows what is needed and how to service that need. Well done sir!
