
RCMP Respond to Wildlife Collisions, Scams, & Suspicious Activity Across Area
In addition to the calls below, there were 61 traffic-related charges issued, one 911 misdialed call, and two false alarm calls:
June 6
-8:50 AM – Kyle RCMP were dispatched to a motor vehicle vs deer collision on Highway 4 near Sask Landing Provincial Park.
-12:57 PM – Kyle RCMP received a dispatch of a grain truck rollover near Lucky Lake, SK. Members attended and no injuries were reported.
-2:18 PM – Kyle RCMP received a complaint of a traffic hazard on the side of the road near Sask Landing Provincial Park. There was a semi tractor broken down and was awaiting some assistance.
-2:40 PM – Rosetown RCMP responded to a well-being check in Rosetown, SK.
-8:44 PM – Kyle RCMP attended to Sask Landing Park for an animal act complaint. SERM assisted with this investigation.
June 7
-12:01 PM – Rosetown RCMP were made aware of fraudulent phone calls claiming to be STARS Air Ambulance, contacting residents of Rosetown, stating they had won a large sum of money.
-12:28 PM – Kyle RCMP received a complaint, and a well-being check was conducted in Elrose, SK.
-8:57 PM – Kyle RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious person in Rosetown, SK. Members attended the location and asked the subject of complaint to leave the premises.
-10:01 PM – Kyle RCMP received a couple complaints in Elrose. Members attended and conducted a well-being check.
June 8
-6:10 PM – RCMP responded to a driving complaint on Highway 7, near Rosetown. The driver of the vehicle was located and no further action was required.
June 9
-8:38 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a persons offence. After the investigation was completed, no charges were laid.
-9:01 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a call with some information in regards to the Paving Scam that was reported a few weeks ago in the Rosetown area.
-10:59 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a traffic complaint on Highway 7 near Fiske, SK.
-4:50 PM – A hit and run to a vehicle, parked on the street, in Rosetown, was reported to Rosetown RCMP.
-8:19 PM – Rosetown/Kyle RCMP responded to a 2 vehicle MVC on Highway 7 near Harris. No injuries were reported.
June 10
No events reported.
June 11
-9:16 AM – Kyle RCMP responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in Beechy, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
-5:32 PM – Rosetown RCMP responded to a well-being check near Rosetown, SK.
