SCAM ALERT: CURLSASK Warns Public of Fraudulent Phone Calls

CURLSASK is alerting the public to a phone scam in which an individual is falsely claiming to represent the organization and is requesting donations.

The Saskatchewan Curling Association has confirmed that it does not solicit donations by phone.

CURLSASK is urging residents to exercise caution and to never provide credit card details or personal information over the phone unless they are completely certain of the caller’s identity.

Anyone who receives a suspicious call is encouraged to hang up immediately and report the incident to local authorities or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

The organization thanks the public for remaining vigilant and helping keep the curling community safe.
