RCMP Respond to 84 Charges in a Busy Week

This report covers police activity from the Rosetown and Kyle RCMP Detachments and is a summary of calls for service and enforcement activity between June 26 and July 3, 2025.

June 26, 2025
6:41 PM – Kyle RCMP received a complaint of a calf in the ditch on Highway 342. The complainant was able to return the calf to the fenced area. No further action was required.

June 27, 2025
5:41 PM – Kyle RCMP responded to a neighbour dispute in Rosetown. No further investigation was required.
9:54 PM – Rosetown RCMP stopped a vehicle near Fiske. The driver was found to have a suspended driver’s license.

June 28, 2025
3:55 PM – A found cellphone was turned in to the Rosetown Detachment. Members located the owner and returned the item.

June 29, 2025
6:59 PM – Rosetown RCMP stopped a vehicle on Highway 7, west of Rosetown. The driver was travelling at a high rate of speed and received a 7-day provincial driving suspension and 30-day vehicle impound.

June 30, 2025
12:41 PM – A report of a lost purse in Rosetown was made to the Rosetown RCMP.
12:58 PM – Kyle RCMP responded to a disturbing the peace call in Rosetown. It was determined to be a neighbour dispute, and no further action was required.
8:09 PM – Rosetown RCMP responded to a Breach of Peace call at Prairie Lake Regional Park. All parties were separated to maintain peace. No further RCMP involvement was necessary.

July 1, 2025
7:13 AM – Rosetown RCMP received several calls regarding a custody dispute in the RM of Canaan. The investigation is ongoing.
2:24 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a request to assist the public after a report of vehicle damage in Kyle, SK.

July 2, 2025
10:46 AM – A theft of a header from a Rosetown business was reported to Kyle RCMP. The investigation is ongoing.
1:30 PM – Kyle RCMP assisted Rosetown Towing with traffic control while a semi was removed from the side of Highway 7, west of Rosetown.

July 3, 2025
11:31 AM – Kyle RCMP received a report of erratic driving east of Rosetown on Highway 7. Members were not in a position to intercept the vehicle.


In total, there were 84 traffic-related charges, 3 911 mis-dial calls, and 0 false alarm calls.
