One of the Biggest Events to Hit Kindersley in 2025
Mark your calendars for Friday, July 25th and Saturday, July 26th. Why? Because the Norm Neigum Memorial World Series of Mud & Dirt Drags hosted by the Good to Go Racing is happening at the East Forty Motorplex. That’s why! And it’s looking to be one of the biggest events to hit Kindersley in 2025.
This is the 10th annual Mud and Dirt Drags and from the very beginning, it has been a family affair. Everyone pitches in to help.
Speaking with lead organizer Shayne Neigum, he was telling me about some of the participants and where they were coming from; Albany, N.Y., Warroad, MN., Missouri, Toronto, and Nanaimo, B.C. as well as Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba. It’s shaping up to be another stellar lineup of racing and music as BC/DC headlines the outdoor concert on Saturday while an Edmonton band, RATTPOISON opens and closes the weekend.
Shayne mentioned that “this wouldn’t be happening without all of our wonderful volunteers who come to help and it’s great that they are racing fans! It takes many hands as there is always something to do. Corporate sponsors also play a big part in the success of this event.”
Admission is very reasonable with a weekend pass only $50. Daily passes are also available. Beer gardens, food trucks and kids’ activities round out the daily activities. With a seating capacity of 2,888, it won’t take long to fill up, so come early and bring your earplugs!
This little “cubby hole” on the map called Kindersley will be rockin’. If you’re a racing fan, then you won’t want to miss this.
Gates open at 4 pm on Friday with racing at 6. Gates open at 1 pm on Saturday with racing at 3. Come on down!
