Rosetown & Kyle RCMP Respond to Crashes, Disputes, and Fraud

Calls of service for August 15–21, 2025

The Rosetown and Kyle RCMP responded to a variety of incidents last week, including multiple motor vehicle collisions, disturbances, and complaints of erratic driving.

Key incidents included:

Two-vehicle crash on Highway 7 near Fiske (Aug. 15) and a vehicle hitting a business wall in Rosetown (Aug. 19), with no injuries reported.

Assault in Rosetown (Aug. 16), with charges laid and court proceedings pending.

Possible vehicle theft reported at a local business (Aug. 18) and a neighbor dispute (Aug. 19), both investigations ongoing.

Fraud investigation involving an online bank account (Aug. 21) and a dog bite complaint (Aug. 21).

Other notable activity included well-being checks, assistance with medical calls, and traffic monitoring in construction zones. Officers also handled 42 traffic-related charges, two accidental 911 calls, and five false alarms.
