WCA Had a Full and Exciting August!

“Our month was packed with games, events, and activities, along with a few changes as staff came and went. With summer winding down and school now here, while the weather is still nice we’ve been making the most of every chance to enjoy the outdoors.

One highlight was the Scoop Challenge, a fun game that put our fine motor skills to the test. We also worked on life skills in the kitchen, baking homemade chocolate chip cookies—delicious to make, and even better to eat!

To close out the month, we shared a heartfelt farewell to a friend moving on to new adventures.
