Kindersley Fire Responds to Major Shop Fire

On the night of Saturday, August 23, at 10:20 p.m., the Kindersley Fire Department was dispatched to a major shop fire. Responding units included two pumpers, one wildland unit, one aerial unit, one utility vehicle, two water tenders, and a command unit. Additional support came from EMS, the RCMP, SaskPower, SaskEnergy, and Holland’s Water Hauler.

When crews arrived, the shop was already fully engulfed, with four hot oiler trucks inside. Firefighters worked through the night to secure the scene. By 2:20 a.m., the fire was contained and a loss stop was declared. Just after 3:40 a.m., all personnel and equipment cleared the site and returned to service.
