Klippers VS Nipawin

Hmm. How I spent my Halloween. Watching the Kindersley Jr. Klippers defeat the visiting Nipawin Hawks! And you…?

The home town boys were under the gun and really needed a victory to get them off the losing skid they were on. Everyone played well and it was a well deserved win. It was 1 to 0 for the visitors starting the 2nd period when Keenan Ingram got our guys going. 1 – 1 after the 2nd but the Klippers broke it open in the 3rd. Captain Logan (Links) Linklater scored a beauty and that was quickly followed by Austin Osiowy’s goal. Keenan Ingram (with his 2nd of the game) and Braden Ivey’s first goal as a Klipper finished off the Hawks. Final score was 5 – 3.

Nipawin pulled their goalie with 5 min left and scored one goal but the Jrs. held on to make the night a memorable one. Klippers netminder Cody (Noodles) Jaman played exceptional and kept our team in the game. Shots on goal favoured the Hawks with a 30 to 27 margin. 557 fans came out and went home very satisfied.

Next Klippers home game is Saturday, November 4th against the Yorkton Terriers. Puck drop is at 7:30 pm. Come on out and watch some great hockey!
