Kindersley Respond to a Fatal Vehicle Collision

On August 13, 2023, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Kindersley RCMP responded to the report of a single vehicle rollover involving a truck. Officers responded immediately.  The lone driver was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. The driver has been identified as a 16-year-old female from Kindersley. Her family has been notified and the local Crisis Centre has been engaged to provide support.  The collision occurred on a rural road, approximately 3 km south of Kindersley SK, and did not impact traffic. A Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene as well as local EMS and Fire. Kindersley RCMP continue to investigate.

The Kindersley RCMP are also on the look out for a stolen 1999 white Dodge RAM 1500 and trailer that was stolen out of Eatonia over the weekend August 4th. The truck has a very distinctive ‘NitroMoose.ca’ written down the side of the truck. Police are requesting if anyone has any information regarding the theft or has spotted the truck to report it to the local RCMP.

In addition to the collision and recent vehicle theft the Kindersley RCMP have responded to a further 45 calls for service between August 7th and August 13th*.  These calls included, but were not limited to 1 impaired driving investigation that resulted in charges, 3 wellbeing checks, 1 mischief complaint and 8 suspicious person or vehicle complaints.

The Kindersley RCMP also want to remind all area residents that security cameras act as a good theft deterrent as well as assist the RCMP with investigations. If you have a security camera you are reminded that the Kindersley RCMP has a security camera registry and you can always voluntarily register your camera at saskcapturecw.ca.  By registering your security camera, it greatly assists the RCMP and the community with detecting criminals in the area.

If you need to report any suspicious activity in your community, please contact the Kindersley RCMP detachment by calling 306-463-4642 or their local police service.
