A Time To Be Grateful And Give Thanks

This is one of my favourite times of year, when we reflect on the generosity and kindness of others and give thanks. This year it is even more special for our organization as we watch the construction of the new day program building for the disability community.

We are very delighted to see steady progress being made at the new facility. With fall here, and winter just around the corner, we would like to see the landscaping done before winter arrives and then the focus will be on the interior of the building. You may have noticed that there has been some work done around the yard to improve the grading, and a retaining wall has been installed in the back yard. Cement walkways and a patio have been poured. There will also be a ramp installed that leads to the rear parking area. All of us are eager to see the rest of the siding go up in the next week or two. Painters are busy getting the inside walls primed and painted. The fire suppression system is in progress and almost complete.

We are looking forward to the moment we can move in, as our anticipation increases with every drive by and tour. Watch for regular updates on our Facebook page @westcentralabilitieskindersley and website www.westcentralabilities.ca .

Please remember that West Central Abilities is still collecting donations for this project, and if you wish to contribute in any way, please contact us for more information 306-463-2727.

Thank you all and from our homes to yours, may you have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving!
