Please Welcome Madalyn McPhee to the Kindersley Social Team!

Here at Kindersley Social, we have been working hard on an exciting new project—KS TV—which we will be releasing in June! While we are a few weeks away from the launch date, we wanted to introduce Madalyn McPhee, who will be working alongside us on this project!

We are thrilled to have her as part of our team and thought a fun way to kick off our KS TV announcement would be for you to learn a little about our host Madalyn and what makes her tick.

“Hi, I’m Madalyn McPhee, the newest (and youngest!) member of Kindersley social. I was very excited and intrigued when I was asked to be a part of this new project, and I can’t wait to get started!

I’m 17-years-old and have lived in the Kindersley area my whole life. Currently, I’m finishing my grade 11 year at Kindersley Composite High School. Along with working at Kindersley Social, I’m also employed part-time at Studio 306. In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and going to the lake in the summer.

Throughout my years of schooling I’ve been involved with many different leadership committees such as the Student Leadership Council, Interact, and Youth Council for Sun West School Division. I have also attended many leadership conferences–one being the Canadian Student Leadership Conference in Abbotsford B.C., where myself and a few others in the division were selected to represent Sun West student leaders.

Since grade nine I have assisted with Meals on Wheels and I am so excited to share that this year I am the KCS Meals on Wheels coordinator.

Academics is something that I strongly value, which is why I apply myself diligently and strive to do my best. Along with focusing on my education, I also enjoy sports which is why I’m part of KCS’ volleyball and track teams. In addition to playing on my school teams, for 13 years I’ve danced with Premier Dance and loved every second of it.

Looking towards the future, I’ve always known I wanted to be a registered nurse, so that’s why I’ve spent many hours looking into different schools and the requirements I will need to move forward in making my dream become a reality. Nursing is an interest that I’ve never swayed from–my passion for helping others, personal or community-wise, has always been important to me.”
