The Other Side

Hi. I’m from the other side. You know, the opponent. I realize we disagree on a lot, but if we dig deeper, we’ll discover there’s much we can agree upon.

I know, I know, the world likes a winner and a loser, but in the game of humanity, if one side loses, don’t we all lose?

I’m what you might call, “woke”, a word that used to have honourable meaning. But here’s the thing, I need you as much as you need me. I need you to question me, I need you to encourage me, I need you to frustrate me, but most of all I need you to enlighten me.

Don’t let them convince you that we’re competing against one another. We need each other you and I. Why focus on power OVER the other side when we can find power WITH each other and FOR each other to empower us all?
